You slipped the cards you had written into their respective envelopes before dashing out the front door to avoid missing the bus. You had two letters, a birthday card for your friend Alfred and a love letter to your crush and best friend Kiku.
After getting on the bus you stared down at the card for Kiku. You thought letters of confession were kind of boring but every time you tried to tell Kiku how you felt you choked and said something random about cherry trees.
